What to Expect at Your First Visit

1

Arrival & Welcome

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to allow time for check-in and paperwork. Our friendly front office team will welcome you warmly and make you feel at home. You may meet Mocha, our therapy dog, as part of your welcome to the practice. We will collect necessary health information and answer any initial questions you may have.

2

Consultation with Hygienist

One of our registered dental hygienists will take you back for a consultation. They will discuss your dental history, any current concerns or symptoms, and ask about your goals for your smile. This is an important time to share any anxiety or special needs, as we want to make sure you are comfortable throughout your appointment.

3

Digital X-Rays & Examination

If you are a new patient, we will take digital x-rays of your teeth and jaw to identify any hidden problems like cavities, bone loss, or impacted teeth. We use low-radiation digital x-rays to minimize your exposure to radiation. Our team will then perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, and oral tissues.

4

Doctor Consultation

Dr. Sepi will review your x-rays and examination findings with you in detail. We believe in patient education, so she will explain what she found, show you any areas of concern, and discuss any recommended treatments. This is your opportunity to ask questions and understand your options.

5

Professional Cleaning

If you are a new patient without significant gum disease, we will perform a professional cleaning to remove tartar and plaque from your teeth and gum line. Your hygienist will teach you proper brushing and flossing techniques customized to your needs and may recommend products or habits to improve your home care.

6

Treatment Planning

Before you leave, Dr. Sepi will discuss any recommended treatments, explain your options for addressing any problems found, and provide a treatment plan with costs and timing. We will discuss your insurance coverage and payment options to ensure you understand all the details before moving forward.
